Chicken Fried Steak Fingers are a tasty take on a traditional Southern comfort food. A seasoned flour mixture is used to coat tender beef strips, which are then fried until they are golden brown. They are great as an appetizer, a snack, or the main course.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb beef sirloin steak, thinly sliced into strips
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- Vegetable oil, for frying
Instructions:
Fill a small bowl with water and mix the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper together
Mix the eggs and milk together in a different bowl
First coat the steak strips in the flour mixture
Then dip them in the egg mixture and cover them again with the flour mixture
Put oil in a pan and heat it over medium-low heat
It should take about 34 minutes on each side to fry the steak fingers until they are golden brown and crispy
Take it out of the pan and let it drain on paper towels
Serve hot with the sauce of your choice
