White Tea Summer Sangria

Footjob Saguenay

White Tea Summer Sangria is a fun take on the traditional drink. It has light floral notes from the white tea, as well as fresh fruit and a hint of citrus. Great for staying cool on hot summer days or having fun with friends and family at any outdoor event.

Ingredients:

  • 6 cups brewed white tea, chilled
  • 1/2 cup honey or agave syrup
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup orange liqueur such as Cointreau
  • 1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
  • 1 cup sliced fresh peaches
  • 1 cup green grapes, halved
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, lightly packed
  • Ice cubes, for serving

Instructions:

In a large pitcher, combine the chilled white tea, honey or agave syrup, lemon juice, and orange liqueur

Stir until the honey is dissolved

Add the sliced strawberries, peaches, grapes, and mint leaves to the pitcher

Stir gently to combine

Refrigerate the sangria for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld together

To serve, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled sangria over the ice

Garnish each glass with additional mint leaves, if desired

Enjoy your refreshing White Tea Summer Sangria
