White Tea Summer Sangria is a fun take on the traditional drink. It has light floral notes from the white tea, as well as fresh fruit and a hint of citrus. Great for staying cool on hot summer days or having fun with friends and family at any outdoor event.
Ingredients:
- 6 cups brewed white tea, chilled
- 1/2 cup honey or agave syrup
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1/4 cup orange liqueur such as Cointreau
- 1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
- 1 cup sliced fresh peaches
- 1 cup green grapes, halved
- 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, lightly packed
- Ice cubes, for serving
Instructions:
In a large pitcher, combine the chilled white tea, honey or agave syrup, lemon juice, and orange liqueur
Stir until the honey is dissolved
Add the sliced strawberries, peaches, grapes, and mint leaves to the pitcher
Stir gently to combine
Refrigerate the sangria for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld together
To serve, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled sangria over the ice
Garnish each glass with additional mint leaves, if desired
