Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/2 cup bourbon whiskey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 red bell pepper, cut into chunks
- 1 green bell pepper, cut into chunks
- 1 red onion, cut into chunks
- Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
Instructions:
Bourbon, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, Dijon mustard, olive oil, dried thyme, black pepper, and salt should all be mixed together in a bowl
To make the marinade, mix it well
Put the chicken cubes in a plastic bag that can be closed again and again, and then pour the marinade over them
Put the bag in the fridge for at least an hour, or better yet, overnight for the best results
Set your grill to medium-high heat and oil the grate so that food doesnt stick
Put the chicken that has been marinated, red bell pepper, green bell pepper, and red onion on the soaked wooden skewers one at a time
Put the kabobs on a grill that has already been heated up
Cook for 10 to 12 minutes, turning them over once in a while, until the chicken is cooked all the way through and has nice grill marks
After taking the Bourbon Marinated Grilled Chicken Kabobs off the grill, let them rest for a few minutes
Then, serve them
You can eat your tasty Bourbon-marinated grilled chicken kabobs with your favorite sides
